Welcome:
Please have families sign up for the FTO emails. Please send an email to CoyoteWillowfto@gmail.com to be added to the list. Also mention the FB private group “Coyote Willow Family Club”.  FTO also has a website: coyotewillowfto.org.
Fundraisers:
Box Tops: Today is our first deadline for turning in Box tops because they need to be sorted, counted and mailed no later than November 1. Please keep bringing in your box tops and make sure to put your teacher’s names on what you turn in so your child’s class gets credit for the contest ending in the spring.  For our first submission, we are sending in 2,384 Box Tops!  That is $238.40 to our school.  Thanks to everyone who has been bringing them in.  Please keep bringing them to school.
Bonus Box Tops App: Please download and use this App! There are quite a few products on the app that all you have to do is scan your receipt and box tops are automatically added to our school’s account.  Currently, there is a Lysol deal for every 5 Lysol products you by on one receipt (up to 20 per receipt), our school gets $10.00 (up to $40.00) instantly!  You spend $5.00, the school gets $10.00!  Check it out! Currently, we have $152.90 in the Bonus Box Tops APP!  Wahoo!
Budget:
Used book sale: This was VERY successful!Book donations were overwhelming!  Our profit was $1116.00.  Thanks to everyone who helped with any part of the book sale whether it was donating books, helping set up, helping during the book fair, or clean up afterwards!  We are thinking we may do another one in the spring.  We were able to pay it forward by donating books that didn’t sell to several causes including a boysscout troop that is collecting books for veterans, RGEC after school program run through APS, and we donated some to Saver’s.
If you have any suggestions for any others that we do, please let us know.
Tummy Ticklers: The bar was set really high by Mr. Doug and Ms. Vanessa’s classes. The donations of treats were amazing!  Profit = $220.00. Next Tummy Ticklers will be December 15, 2017. Monica, Ms. Abby, and Ms. Heather’s classeswill be bringing treat for this sale.  Mrs. Jessica will be the board member helping with this Tummy Tickler.  It will be held outside in the same location as this last one. 
Picture day:
Happened today. Make up pictures will be taken December 1, 2017.  If you ordered pictures, you will receive your package of pictures.  If you are unhappy with them, you can have them retaken.  If you did not order pictures, a proof will be sent home of your child’s picture and you will be able to order online if you want to.  If you missed picture day, you can have your child’s photo taken on above date.
Art & Poetry:
Today there was a specific meeting before the FTO meeting to begin putting all the pieces together. If you were not able to attend, please see Kathy for what was discussed and where you can get involved.  Each Class has a representative that has volunteered to help their class/teacher with this specific event.  Upcoming Meetings for Art and Poetry Coordinators: Tuesday, November 7, 2017: 8:15 am This is for the cookie and food part of A&P.
Tuesday, November 14, 2017: 11:00 am (collapsed day) this will focus on needs for the auction and decorating classrooms.
We are in need of MANY volunteers for this event!  Begin talking with your class parents about helping out whether it be in the classroom, sorting cookies, selling cookies, set up, clean up, etc.  We are need of twinkle lights.  They should be going on sale soon!
FTO Meeting changes:
November meeting has been cancelled.
Next meeting will be Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:20 in the MPR
T-shirts:
For those that filled out an order sheet, they have been ordered and we will notify you when your order has arrived J
Landscape:
Ruti attended the first annual “Gathering of the Gardens” that APS offered. She got some ideas but we are still unsure what landscaping will still be done at the school.  If you have ideas or want to help, please let Ruti know.  Probably spring time, we will have a better idea of where things will be going etc!
In the Court Yard: Please stay on the paths. People are walking through the garden area.  We want our plants to flourish!  Thanks
